Alexanders in York Horseboxes

He seems a decent enough guy, we went looking for 3.5T wagons but realised there wouldn't be enough payload for 2 horses and 'stuff' and plus his quote was out of our budget. We didn't see many of the conversions, just about 3 that were there - they look ok, but there are some things we'd have probably done differently. Think worth a look if you're in the area and have a fairly decent budget. Not sure how they compare to other dealers/conversions.

I hired one from him once.

Was a nice box actually. Seemed like a decent sort of a place.

Anyone bought from this horsebox dealer, they advertise on Horsemart etc, any reviews good or bad? Many thanks.
i know someone who bought a 4x4 from them and had a whole load of problems with there after service. I once went to look around and ask one of the sales guys if i could have a look at one of the 3.5's he askd me to wait a few minutes half an hour later he hadnt come out to see us. I left. Have to say the do look very nice.

I know of someone who has 3.5t from them. All good at first but it hasnt stood up to much wear inside and IMO quite flimsy. The ramp seemed bendy when I was walking on it! (Im average weight honest :D:eek:)
