Alfa a oil - funny colour?

I have a new bag of alfa a oil and the contents are really bright green, like grass colour, whereas usually it is light brown. HAs anyone else found this? Is it just the time of year?

Mine is usually green, but more of a dark green. Perhaps its just a newly produced bag and goes darker the longer its left after production?

my friend has a bag also and hers is very definitely brown

Mine is a dark green colour. Probably varies due to age of the Alfalfa when cut or something....

I've just opened a new bag and its def greener than normal

It's been ages since I have fed any of the Dengie products but seem to remember there being something on the bag to say that the colour of the product may vary due to seasonal variantions and that it doesn't affect the product or nutritional values. May be worth a look on the bag?

Mine is usually a shade of green.
