This feed has made the world of difference to both my boys in a short time. I think it was LEC who recommended it. Both my boys had dropped off a bit after not being able to get their usual grass nuts and grass chaff. I bought alfa a oil and alfalfa pellets on the first bank holiday in May. I looked at my boys this morning and they are looking great!! I know the bit of grass we have has probably helped a little. If your horse can tolerate alfalfa then I can highly recommend this feed!!

It's a shame it's gained such a bad reputation, it really doesn't deserve it and is a good feed (I know there are some horses it doesn't suit but there are a lot it does). Glad it worked well :)

Hi, do you feed anything else with the AlfalFa other than hay and grass?

I used to feed it but it went through a bad batch I think as the oil was rank. I lost my nerve buying it after that as it's quite expensive

Just feeding the alfalfa a oil and alfalfa nuts with a bit of salt. I've given up with expensive supplements and balancers. It is a relatively expensive feed but they are eating every scrap and looking great!
