My TB mare is currently fed Alfa-a pellets, but reading about it on here there can be a lot of problems with it.
She is doing ok on them however she can be really spooky/ sharp so I was wondering whether it could be the pellets, as she has them soaked and mixed with Hifi so could this be an alfa-a overdose?
What are the main differences between them? I have had a quick google but here seems to be the best place for advice and experiences

Why not just replace pellets with Beet and change your alfa to alfa a oil if you need condition?

Have never used Alfa A pellets so couldn't comment, I am a devoted fan of soaked grass nuts, since I have stopped using all the "fancy feeds" and stuck purely go my grass nuts, my horse is far less stressed and flighty

Use less grass nuts than Alfa pellets as most types are much higher in energy. I didn't and ended up with a very fat horse very quickly!! But therefore good for condition!
