Alistair, Anvil vets?

My usual vet John Dunsford is on holiday atm, and as my boy is lame and needs to be seen by a vet today, Alistair from Anvil is coming out! I do not know him and wondered if anyone else uses him and recommends him?

I've used him for a vetting in the past and he was very thorough, friend has him as her vet and praises him highly. Hope your horse is not seriously lame - something easy like abscess would be good.
