Thank u for the welcomes, I will put a piccy on very soon but need help as a bit bad on computers. She's a cob x and she's 14.2 and 15yrs old, and very calm and sensible which is suiting my nervousnous perfectly. Apart from sometimes being a bit crafty to catch, she hasn't done yet to test me (which I'm waiting 4). Oh and she's piebald!!

Oh thanks, well as soon as i've got them transferred off my camera will put them on computer and let u know, thanx.

hey mine is 14.3hh cob and he is only 7 but by god he is totally amazing and bombproof (never thought i would ride a horse i would dare call that let alone get lucky enough to buy one - shame ive been crying all day cos ive lost £6000 - long story) but he is so good i took him to his first show after having him only 3 weeks and he was so brave. im thinking about starting a clique, there are loads of them, how about "ive just bought my own" clique or "beginners are the best" clique haha!!

thewonderhorse- i do love your coloured in your sig so beautiful just my type lol lots of hair

no i don't own the coloured in my sig i broke him in for a friend who sold him and it turned out he is now 2 seconds away from my field and in the field with the foot path i use to get home

Hello and welcome...I have been a member far to long and got totally addicted, even though I thought I would'nt!!!

Thank you all so much for your welcomes, what a friendly forum. Good luck with getting your new 2 on Monday Meltdown.

Welcome to the forum & enjoy your new pony. There is a wealth of knowledgable people on here who will be able to assist you with any questions or problems you may get. All you have to do is ask

Hi & welcome
It does get a bit addictive on here I'm afaid.
Your horse sounds lovely - mine isn't very sensible. Would you like to swap?

I can imagine it does get a bit addictive, but so much more sociable than looking things up in a book when you need some advice. Its great to know that there are horsey people out there that can help each other or at least listen and sympathise.

Hey there - I only joined a couple of days ago, neglected to introduce myself and just proceeded to stick my oar in.

Still horse-less this end, so very envious of your new pony and hoping you have many happy years together!

Was a forum virgin so etiquette was unknown to me! Oh well, nobody seemed to mind (too much

Welcome to the forum Leary!

Leary,
Welcome - I'm also guilty of hijacking your entry!
As a new member, can anyone point myself and the other newbies in the right direction for an introductory thread?

I'm also currently horse-less however looking to buy a Highland in the near future.
I look forward to contributing to the forum!

Welcome all of you to the forum, I joined a few months ago and then 7 weeks ago I got my first horse after dreaming about one for 30yrs! Love him to be bits. Everyone is really helpful on here, but it is addictive!

Ditto to above - I have not gone out to the pub tonight cos I'd rather read this forum and watch big brother! OMG I'm turning into one of those people I usually think need to get a life!
I bought my horse last week and joined this at the same time. I have already had loads of help, from translating his German passport to just friendly words of support.
Welcome to the forum!!
