Hello again all!!
Anyone who read my earlier threads may want to know my mare is being moved to a proper livery yard in a week or so and he coughing seems to have been little more than choking and I am now dampening her food right down and all seems fine.....well!!
I bought her from the field, all was well. But being turned out for 3 odd years with minimal human contact, it has taken a while to build a bond where I can thoroughly look at her. I noticed over the past few days that her eyes dont seem quite right. A usual horse has mainly the coloured bit then the black part which is horizontal and fairly thin (sorry, science wasnt best bit of school for me!!). With her eyes, there is the usual bit,...then all I can describe as what looks like a mini explosion cloud from the middle of the black bit. Now, her eye is not 'cloudy' and its not a grey/white cloud lining. It is dark, nealry black and only in the middle section with quite well defined outlines. Exactly like a cartoon explosion. Havent come across anything like this before in either dogs or horses. Any ideas?!
Cheers
