All hail to the Phaser - vanquisher of horseflies/clegs

Thanks to Thistle, HBII and BBs for recommending the Phaser fly repellant for my terrible horsefly/clegfly problem. It arrived this morning, courtesy of the very efficient people at TDS Saddlers, and I put some on before we set out for a ride. I must say that it was very effective and we had a lovely relaxing hack

.

it is good but smells awful, i used to use it but mum refuse to have it on her horse so ive had to find another which works but smells nicer - Horsewise by Lenrys

It does stink, but it is worth it to me as my mare seems to attract every cleg in the neighbourhood and is allergic to their bites too! When the cleg season is over I will probably return to the more fragrant varieties

YAY! TDS are great arent they? Chumsmum ordered some the same day you did and was delivered this morning. I was daring her to have a spray in the office lol!

However you TGM have cost me money

lol as Chumsmum kindly offered if I needed anything from TDS and the answer was of course yes!

Cheers for that .... The riding school ponies get eaten by clegs poor things .

Missy is getting a little peed of with them to , any fly repellant I have tried where useless and a waste of money

. Was very impressed by TDS's service - I ordered on Tues pm and got it this morning, even though I used their standard service which is meant to be 3 - 5 days!

Yep..I use Phaser and it really works well. Tho the smell is a bit whiffy, once she is out in the field you can't smell it anyway!!! She is always suspicious of smelly stuff but actually is fine with me using this. I use loads of it on my horse and it seems to just keep on going too!!!
Definitely a good buy...

That's the perfect size for me but on reading the literature, I don't think I could get this into the country
