All new kit for me and my horse after 30 years!!!

Had to share as Im so excited. As a very senior rider with a new and rather promising young horse, I have finally decided to splash out on all new kit for me. Having spent every spare penny of horse allowance on my daughter and her pony when she was younger, I had to make do with what I had for myself. After heavens knows how many years I have just taken delivery of my very first Charles Owen show hat and made to measure boots are on order.

I feel like a kid in a sweety shop, cos I can actually buy stuff for me......Only waited about 30 years for this, just have to hope that I dont let my boy down now, at least I will look the part while Im messing up.!!!
 
I sooo know that feeling, and isn't it good. For years when I've been asked what I wanted for Christmas/birthday it has been - a horse I can compete on, otherwise anything really, not that bothered (not in an ungrateful way, but you know what I mean). I've now got my new horse and have a list as long as my arm for Christmas. Have fun looking all new and shiny with your horse!! :p
