We hacked back on our own today! :D

I have ridden him back to his field a couple of times on our own recently - only a few hundred yards, but baby steps for me! He's now in a new field which is through another and then along a nice path through the woods - so a little mini-hack, which I did yesterday with one of the girls from the yard walking alongside.

So, I after a good lesson yesterday I thought we'd try to leave our mates and come back alone - so we did! He was really calm, just one little call (I think he might have heard someone behind us) and walked back good as gold!

It is paving the way for us to go out on our own over half term (fingers crossed). To tell the truth, I really wondered if we would ever even get to this point again!

Congrats! I know how anmazing this feels- I did the same too today and now feel so pleased. Well done little steps are all you need- bit by bit. It's my youngster I took out after having an accident with a car a month ago- so I too am elated he did so well. Its funny how much these things mean to us!

Reading that gives me hope as today I rode my girl on the lead rein daughter leading me and oh walking in front and she still stoppe and tried to spin. Small steps will get us there in the end. Well done you guys
