We did a little jog tonight - only 4 1/2 miles - but Millie took to it like a natural 😊 I’m so pleased with her, she was fine with the harness and behaved really well - I’m liking this whole ‘running with dogs’ thing already 😊 I would add a picture but the bloody stupid forum won’t let me without re-sizing as usual (are they EVER going to make the forum easy to use??!!) 😂😂 Yay, managed it within the edit deadline!

dogs nearly all seem to love it ime-bit of a pack thing going on :) even with just two of you. Fitz is a natural, it blows Quarrie's mind a bit so actually just run him on a lead now. glad you're enjoying it!

My only problem is that Marty wants to come too! I am unsure about even doing slow jogs with him due to a racing injury - I think I'll get advice and see whether he can come too. The two oldies, Amy and Flick, are not remotely bothered as long as they can sleep on my bed :)

I used to take Rufus running with me and he was fabulous company. Just trotted along perfectly. I would never entertain taking the girls however as I would be on my backside before you could say Mo Farah. Neither of them can walk in a straight line for love nor money so running would be a disaster waiting to happen

What I really want to know is when you're going to have all four woofs attached?

Well I’m hopefully experimenting with taking Marty greyhound as well this evening - he will be on a normal collar and lead at the moments, but if he takes to it I will probably end up getting him a harness too 😊 a lot of people say greyhounds aren’t really into running though 😛

Amy is 11 and Flick is 12 now so I can’t see them running with me any time - although I have no doubt at all that Amy would love it, she never mentally ages at all 😂

Well done you. We cheat, our dogs run along with us on our bikes or with the horses. The dogs are greàt confidence boosters for getting young horses to hack alone.
