A little bit of advice please. I am currently in the process of having an all weather turnout/menage constructed and am deliberating as to which surface to use. I have heard very good things about cushionride. However after speaking to them today they have informed me that the 'chips' are smaller and would potentially degrade quicker. They will be introducing the larger 'chips' in a couple of months time.

Does anyone else use there's for both awto and to ride on? If so what surface do you recommend please?

TIA

I can definitely tell you to avoid arena woodchip at all costs, we've inherited a woodchip surface with our recently purchased property and it is just awful, it degrades and unless it has been bone dry for days our surface is like riding on compost. Would hate anyone to make the mistake of choosing woodchip as they think it's a cheap surface that will last them a few years, it's false economy as we now have tons and tons of compost-y material that will need to be shifted when we can afford a new surface. Heard good reports about flexi-ride but never ridden on it myself.
