How do yuou feed allen and page calm and condition-I know it says to soak/dampen it/add chaff etc but it tells you to give a huge amount that seems rather excessive? Is the amount weighed dry or wet?? according to the instructions I need to give my horse something silly like 3kg??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus chaff on top of that!!! Cant be right and means the bag lasts about 7 days if that?!!!! stupid question I know but seems an awful lot!!

I only give my horse half a scoop - split between breakfast and tea! o.o Dunno how much that is in weight though... also has it with Alfa-A and then usually some carrots/apple/banana

But it seems to work for him and he definitely didn't need the amount he was having originally as he's now gained a fair amount of weight and it's just a matter of keeping him at the weight he is...

I feed two small bowls full (don't have a scoop!) just cover it with warm water, and add chaff. my bag lasts a lot longer than 7 days x

it says that a stubbs scoop is approx 1.5kg-so thats 2 scoops!!!! Hmm think Ill just play it by ear, dont want to send the lanky tb up the wall-even if it is CLAM and condition.lol!

Its the only hard feed I can give my stressy tb.She has two scoops per day the smaller scoop and large scoop of alpha a twice a day .I tip a and p into feed bowl with water leave it for 5 mins then add rest of feed.It last me about a month .Out of interest what do you pay I buy direct from my yo .

yo tells me Im buying it much cheaper but we seem to be more expensive for hard feed in my area..Local shop would have been nearly £21 so you get good deal
