does anyone use this...im tempted for asbo..esp. as he has been kicking the door since 7 this morning which means he has run out of hay(he had 1/2 a bale last night) plus also ride and relax which is supposed to swell.......
 
Yes I am feeding it to my mare at the moment. I had some samples from my feed merchant, which she loved, so I have bought a sack, and it's going down very well. I use one of those small square scoops, cover it with water, leave for 1 minute, then add a bit of alfa, mix and balancer and stir it up. My horse seems to like the consistency, she licks her bucket out!

Ask your feed merchant if they have some samples, as there is a promotion going.
 
i just bit the bucket and bought a bag........

can i mix it with ride and relax........i just want him to feel full so that he stops kicking the door at 7am in the morning when he runs out of hay!
 
careful with ride and relax - its got lots of maise in it which turned my mare into the devil that she is now lol not so ride and relaxing!

probably but he seems to want to traipse ot round his stable, walk on it, then pee on it and i would really prefer him not to eat that...he is actually earing 1/2 a bale of hay a night already...

hes only a 15 3 HH dales!

i just want him to feel fuller for longer and then may be he wont keep kicking the door.(which has had to be reapired 3 times already this week!)

hes actually alright on the ride and relax...i have had to remove all traces of mollasses and barley otherwise he is terrible and we have temper tantrums...i have found however soaking it in plenty of water for a good 10 mins before feeding is better for him......
 
fabulous stuff! i am currently feeding it to my sec d, i can make a huge tub up and put it out in his field and not worry about it blowing away!!
 
I fill my greedy horse with Simple Feeds Lucie Nuts. chaff and D&H build up. These can either be fed soaked or dry, which take longer to eat and are very filling.
 
Why not double or dare i say it tripple net his hay? That's what I did to slow my cob down and ensure his haylege lasted!
Failing that, I would think the A&P fibre stuff would be quite good. I am thinking of jacking in the fibre pellets and chaff I feed at the mo in favour of this stuff
