Do i have to soak these as it says on the bag??
Never had them before as i managed to run out of normal nuts and this was all they had to run me over until next order comes in!!

Yes if it says soak on the bag soak them. Most of the Allen and Page feeds require soaking I called them to check when I got ride and relax which also said soak them with a scoop of chaff!

My understanding (gained from an A&P rep) is that their feeds need no more soaking than other feeds do, but they put the warning on there for legal reasons.

Ideally, all nuts should be soaked because they do swell up a fair amount and if you don't soak them before feeding then they will swell up in the gut instead. Whether or not that causes any serious implications for the horse is another question - if your mare is fine with 'normal' nuts then in theory she should be fine with A&P nuts, but I'd either dampen them so they soak up a little, or feed a reduced quantity personally.

Or tell her she's allowed no food on accounts of being fussy

I asked this question to A&P when I changed to them.
They told me that despite the advice to soak, it can be fed dry without any issues.

These nuts have worked really well for my two & both their coats are so shiney as a result of this feed.

I feed allen and page mix but put a lot of water in and just leave it for about 5 mins and even in that time it soaks up a lot of water so maybe you could just soak it for 5-10 mins before you feed?

I'm not sure about the quiet cubes but I know you have to soak calm and condition cause it has beet in it so have a look at the ingredients
