Yep, for my old polo pony. She needs a soaked feed and something high calorie but I wanted to avoid high starch and sugar feeds (for no reason other than I think it'll be better for her). I mix it with veteran chaff and a few fibre cubes, she likes it and is looking good on it.

Thank you.
I am just deciding whether to move my New Forest onto this.
I don't want high starch, sugar but something to help him build up.
Did you fond your mare got fizzy when changing onto it?

Feeding it to share mare - for about a year - after losing muscle. Has slowly regained muscle (but has had initial cause sorted) so not sure if this would have happened anyway. Certainly hasn't made her fizzy (but really not that type). Does eat it well - but did get a bit bored with it after about six months - now feed with cool mix.

No hotting up at all. The other new one Care & Gain is even lower starch & sugar if you're worried. M&F is 6% of each, C&G is 4.5% of each.

They do seem to like something crunchy mixed with it, hence adding a few cubes and carrots if we've got them, they don't seem to like just slop even mixed with chaff.

Mine has the Care and Gain as lower starch than Muscle and Focus, he’s licking the bowl clean for the first time in 5yrs, he always used to leave a mouthful or two. He has it with chaff.

I have one here on it, and it's really suiting her. She's a showjumper, inclined to being a bit ulcery and prone to mild spasmodic colics, but it seems to keep everything under control in the gut department. She's looking fantastic, and isn't anything like as spicy as she gets on other feeds. I'm quite impressed
