Does anyone feed Allen & Page's Old Faithful Special Blend? I was thinking of trying it for my old horse, as he finds 16+ a bit tough to eat and I can't find the cubes (for soaking) anywhere!

I was a bit shocked at the high starch content - 30 - 45%!

I just wondered if anyone used this feed and whether the high starch levels had caused any problems!

If you give A+P helpline a ring, they are sooo helpful

I really like the A+P feeds, and my horse looks fab on them, so would imagine theyve done alot of research into whats in their mix....

I feed my old mare on it and it worked wonders...quite expensive but wanted something that would keep her weight on and make her happy through winter...I would normally feed a balancer along side it for older horses...I used Baileys supplement which was very expensive but kept her happy and her weight on all through the winter :0)
Top spec balancer is brill too...
