Not my horses for once, thank goodness, but a friends horse had a small patch of ringworm. This was diagnosed by the vets following a swab. Friend started treatment and its a whole lot worse. He now has lesions all over his back and desperately itchy and drawing blood in places where he has scratched and bitten himself.
I wondered if he could be having an allergic reaction to the treatment? Has anyone elses horse reacted?
The vet has taken more swabs but told my friend to carry on with the treatment.
