Allergic to Neoprene – boots

Hi

Can anyone recommend some breathable, basic brushing boots for my older horse?

He is allergic to neoprene, and violently allergic to LeMieux breathable mesh brushing boots.

I am struggling to find basic Husk brushing boots in LARGE (seem to be out of stock everywhere)

Tri Zone seem to contain neoprene.

EcoGold look great but cannot see a UK stockist.

Any ideas?

NEW fleece lined would be a bit hot.

Not looking to spend a fortune, as for a 20 year old semi-retired horse, but he does move close and needs boots for travelling / working.

Thanks

If he is semi retired how much work is he doing when worked i would probably use polo bandages.

Something like the PE eventing boots might work i cant see that it mentions neoprene https://www.premierequine.co.uk/air-cooled-original-eventing-boots-c2x21438636 but it depends on the budget.

Not that semi retired, still works 6 days a week and travels. Just doesn't really compete. Thanks, but polo bandages too warm. I don't really want a hard edge in the boot, and think some eventing boots too. Nor to I want the sports boot style. Just brushing boot shape, with no hard edge, not neoprene, and ventilated. :)

I think there is a tri zone version without neoprene maybe?

OK that makes sense. Sorry cant help but it does raise the question, i have no idea what i would use. Just shows everyone's version of retired/semi-retired can be so different.

Had a quick look are these the ones you mean? https://www.equilibriumproducts.com/product/tri-zone-all-sports-boots/ If so they are not too much money.

He is 20 this year, and doesn't compete any more. He has to be in full work to keep enough supportive muscle over old injuries. He does feel the hard ground at the moment.
