Thought I'd update you on my old girls allergies. For those of you who haven't read it here goes. Trying to find allergy free food for my pooches. Were on Bakers which they were fine on, but wanted a more natural food. Tried Autarky which brought the old girl out in allergy bumps on her back. Went back to Bakers, she was fine again. then tried Arden Grange, again more bumps. Now trying Skinners duck and Rice. Fine at the mo. But will know more after 2 weeks. Might have to go back permantly on Bakers....

If that doesn't work try James Wellbeloved - the HWV are prone to food allergies and one of the pups we bred is on this for his sensitive tum, may be worth a try?

Our dogs have just a basic biscuit meal with their tripe, the farm where I get the horse feed from does it. It's just a working dog feed but very good.

Try checking the ingredients. My girl is a Chow Chow, and as a breed they are well known for having intolerances to wheat too much protein. Beef and pork can often cause allergies too, so try to avoid them - I've heard lamb is the best for dogs with allergies.

I'm still trying to find a dry food that my girl will touch that won't break her out in lumps - picky dog combined with several allergies is not a good combination!

I dont know if you saw my post the other day, but i have a dog who has severe skin allergy, i put him on to msm and it has completely cured his skin etc, could be worth a try.
