What do you think? Are they essentially the same? Is one better than the other for putting on condition? What about price? Anyone have any ideas?

well i feed my older gelding fibre beet (fast fibre) and he survives all year round on and looks fat!! i pay £7.99 for a 20kg bag of fast fibre. it last 2 weeks feeding 1/2 a scoop (dry) split into 2 feeds with hifi.

If you are looking to put weight on what about normal mollassed sugar beet? Very economical.

Ah, in that case I like fastfibre personally. Or you could use speedibeet. That's laminitis friendly so sugar free.
