Also in AAD - can you use dog trimmers on a horse?

I've been offered a second hand pair of Wahl dog trimmers and was wondering if you could use them on a horse? I already have a set of Heineger clippers so these would be for things like ears/whiskers etc. Also I would use them for desensitisation on his face/front legs as he's still a bit funny about me using the big clippers in these areas.

Do you think it's worth getting them? They are £20

I use dog trimmers on ears etc. They are fine and easier to handle than big heavy clippers in delicate areas

Bargain and handy to have in the grooming basket.

I used Listers horse clippers on a scabby dog some years ago - big mistake, poor dog had to wear a cardigan and was too embarrassed to go outside for weeks.
