Hi all
so what do you do with yours?

I'm looking at ways to store our jump poles.... back at college years and years ago they had some kind of metal frame which hung off the outside of the school fence which made it easier to store the poles. Is there a special name for it, or should i just get some steel, and badger the OH to get his welder out?? either that or get two of the triple saddle racks and mount them to the wall of the barn.... ideas?

Also looking at ways of keeping them dry too (ours are wooden and being in wet wales rot is a problem), as constructing a roofed-storage area for them is not really an option I need brainwaves for another idea. As its a livery yard I need something simple and easy for everyone to use.

I was thinking of getting hold of some large diameter pipe (cant think of the technical term, but about 1m diameter plastic thick stuff?), same length as the poles, mounting it to the wall so poles can be stored inside it and kept dry? Anything which is going to save money in the long run always goes down well with the YO, and as it looks like we're going to have to invest in some new poles soon might as well find ways to make them last longer too.
Any ideas/suggestions welcome Thanks!

looks similar, but the arms on the one at college held more than one pole on each level.... like a larger half moon shape. but that is an option, thanks!

Welsh D i like that idea! much simpler than my 'poles in a big tube' idea. mandwhy that is fantastic, and omg soso cheap! might try a combination of the two, the plastic pole racks with the corrugated sheet in a D shape over it somehow. Thanks for the suggestions!!

We find that as long as the poles are kept off the floor they won't rot. We have guttering brackets fixed around the fence of the arena and have the poles resting on them,This works well.
