Ok, my clippers have been packed away and not touched for month, in my surprise in opening the box, my blades have gone rusty, does anyone know why ? the box did not get wet, but is stored in tack room, do i have just dodgy blades.

Ho hum bum more bloody expense, !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine did that as I forgot to wrap them in kitchen towel.
I managed one clip with them, then sent them off for sharpening, and they've come back as good as new.
We put it down to moisture in the air, so now the box is triple wrapped in plastic bags!

Its likely that sweat from your hands when packing the blades away has caused the rust.
