any idea of an alternative to Ariats jodpur boots (the devon pros)? I have the high end ones which have lasted really wel AND do a superb job of keeping my feet warm .... but they are around £170 to replace - granted the last pair I bought was 3 years ago but they were £120 which was exceedingly painful... dont suggest ebay - they are seem to be on for £167 ( such a deal! + postage of course)

I love my Tredstep sport horse boots. Find them really durable and comfortable, and look fantastic with the gaiters. Mine have lasted ages too and I throughly recommend. Also, they are about £60 ish so complete value for money!

What about the range below the Devon Pro? Can't think of what it's called but the boots look pretty similar and are half the price - and as the happy owner of a pair they have all the Ariat quality trademarks and are just as comfortable.

Tredstep Sport are excellent. I had the Ariat Cobalt Pro before which I loved but had them off ebay for less than £100 several years ago but when they died I couldn't justify the cost of replacement so get the Tredsteps. So far I'm very pleased with them
