I normally use Barrier Natural Fine Clipper Oil, but I can't find it in-stock anywhere!? I can't use normal Lister clipper oil, etc as one of my horses reacts quite badly to it. Does anyone have another alternative??

WD40?? Yes, I know you're technically not meant to use it, but I do use it on the odd occasion when I have run out of 'official' clipper oil and it seems fine.

I use unscented baby oil when I run out of the proper stuff, doesn't seem to cause any problems, its just white mineral oil, but I do try to use clipper oil most of the time.

One of my horses reacts as well, and I was told years ago to give him a strong Dettol wash down after clipping. Have not had any hives/etc since then!
