Alternative to Happy Mouth American Gag

I have been using a Happy Mouth, straight bar American gag, but think it might be too much and looking for alternatives. Ideally I want something with a nylon / flexi /happy mouth straight bar, and the same action as an american gag but with a much shorter shank. Is there anything like a Tom Thumb with a non metal straight mouth piece? Thanks

I had a bit made similar to a cartweel bit with a straight mouth nathe mouth piece

What about a happy mouth mullen mouth dutch gag or cartwheel/bevelled bit?

The cartwheel/bevelled bit is also known as a Wilkie snaffle, I had a senior moment and forgot that name.

yeh mine was a wilkie with big rings, it was made by Mr Wilkinson of fylde saddlery, origanially had one with single joint happy mouth piece, i use this on anything that is sensitive but onward going and needs more than a snaffle but less than a gag of some sort.

How about a dutch gag with a back strap? One of ours goes really nicely in it. You can then play with which hole you need.

i'm thinkink of trying a happy mouth straight bar three (4?) ring gag, looking on ebay for 2nd hand bargin! Does yours have elastic back strap?

No a leather one but I'm sure an elastic one could be used.
