Hi all,

I am looking for some alternatives to haynets!! A horse on the yard needs to have his head as low down as possible when eating, but eating off the floor is causing a lot of mess and we are a little concerned about him eating straight off the concrete as it can get quite dusty. We cannot rubber mat this part.

What suggestions do you have? We thought about something like a haybar, but there isn't a suitable corner, only one flat wall.

All ideas appreciated!

Don't bother with Haybars, our horses just pulled all the hay out on the floor anyway. Took them out, still got the tarnation things somewhere.

There was a thread on here a while ago and one person had made a hay bar out of and old stable mat, so i made one from for my lod pony out of rubber doormats and bungee cord it worked a treat.
