Alternatives to Tensolvet

Am I right in thinking that Iblulieve or own brand equivalent can be used in place of Tensolvet?

I don't know but I got Tensolvet off-prescription from somewhere on the internet recently, very cheap too. Will have a look and see if I can find the receipt.

Yes, my vet told me to use the Ibruleve gel on Han's haematoma rather than buy some tensolvet

Just so you know, they are not the same thing. Ibuleve is Ibuprofen and Tensolvet is Sodium heparin 50 iu, 2-Hydroxyethyl salicylate 50 mg and Menthol 5 mg.

Ibuprofen is an NSAID.

Check that they will actually do the same thing. Heparin helps break down blood, wheres the Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory.

What are you using it for? I used bottles of the stuff once and was told preperation H pile cream does the same job in breaking down soft lumps and bumps and its much cheaper.
