Any cheaper alternatives to be honest......costing a fortune for all this........have converted to nappies instead of animalintex which is fine with vet btw.

Also is ebay the best place for this??

No idea but I discovered you could re-use vet wrap. I re-rolled some as I was taking it off and then used it again but put a stable bandage over the top, worked fine, it was to hold animalintex in place over the fetlock.

Obviously no good though for going round feet..

You can buy exactly the same stuff for people in Boots or any chemist. Not sure how the price would compare but usually equi-anything is 3 times anything else. Maybe no VAT for the human stuff, not sure. Bet you can buy the human stuff by the lorry load on-line too and get it even cheaper. I think the human stuff only comes in white but hey - so what!

Our local shop has vetwrappy type bandages with no brand name on at £1.10 per roll as opposed to £2.99 I was paying
See if yours does anything

Just seen an advert for Prowrap, from JSEquine (sales@jsequine.co.uk tel 01452 863000). Spotted it in a flyer in the latest BD Magazine so hope I'm allowed to mention it on here! Prowrap looks exactly the same as other cohesive bandages and if you buy 54 you get them at £1.40 each. If you go for 216, you get them at £1.09 each. VAT not included. Not exactly sure how that compares with other makes.

Do a searcn on Hypderdrug, Nutrecare etc for bandages, they usually have a couple of different types that are far cheaper than Vetwrap. I think my latest stock of wrap came from Nutrecare for half the price of vetwrap.

I Buy in bulk from Ebay
Type in cohesive bandages and sort on Price+P&P lowest and pick the cheapest in the number you want to buy.
These work out at £1.20 each

Or you can use softban type underpadding bandages which are really cheap and silage or similar tape

Wrap the bandage round

Then the tape which keeps the moisture out, give it some extra wraps around the sole.
