Aluminium stirrups-anyone used?

I'm looking for some lightweight stirrups and came across a pair of Mark Todd aluminium ones?

Exactly HOW light are these does anyone know and are they good?

Don't know about those, but I use Smartrider's plastic ones. They are safety and lightweight.

I haven't even ridden in ali stirrups, but I have recently purchased some Mark Todd black nylon ones and I'm really pleased with them. They're really light and comfy.

ETA they were about £45.
