Has anyone replaced their trailer floor with aluminium not bought from a company such as Ifor Williams? If so how much did it cost? Thanks

I have been looking into it and it seems it varies substantially.
It will depend on the make of the trailer and if the company now make a non-wooden floor which can be purchased and fitted (e.g ifor or SOME Rice trailers you can apparently get a non-wooden floor for).
If no standard floor is available - then you can get one made - although costs will vary - i have not looked into this option yet.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Its an Ifor 505.I have had it a couple of years and bought it with a wooden floor. I was hoping I could afford to replace the floor with aluminium rather than wood again!!

as ifor williams now make aluminium floors, you should not have a problem replacing the floor. I have a local trailer servicing place who can buy and fit parts such as that, shame my trailer is not an ifor, there is no kit for mine (maybe a rice or a bayhill)!
