Has anyone complained about the intro and Pn fees? According to BE the maximum price should be £57 if they have prize money and VAT so how can ALW charge £65? It must be a mistake.

Was just chatting to DofftheDerby who has entered about this hence my question.

At a guess £57 + Vat comes to £66 so maybe they've charged the maximum plus the vodka and tonic

Seems a fortune though

No the max with VAT included is £57 but that is with prizemoney. I just wonder how many people are paying and not querying it.

I paid a fortune for the Int. It comes to over £100 with a start fee.. I did think it was rather steep. Never knew there was a limit on entry fees though?

Page 23 of the rule book stipulates the maximum which events can charge for a class. There is a higher class entry fee for events with prize money.

Aston usually give prize money. Although its always lower limit for PN level.

Gosh that's naughty of them then. In my experience complaining at anything to do with BE gets you no where though but I would be interested to know why if anyone is going to

I e-mailed the sec about cost of intro and she said it is a mistake so the cost includes the start fee, which is fine so long as you don't w/d!!
