Ever since my lad got laminitis I get nervous about his feet when the farrier has been...in case he has a set back for some reason. He has been sound now for 3 months or so and back in walk / light hack work 4 times a week for 5 weeks and fine. He was shod again on Sunday and has been sound since then, but I am not sure how long to leave him before I carry on with his short hacks that we have been doing. My OH says leave him a couple of days and ride on Weds morning as normal...I am worrying over nothing but I always get like this in case I upset things and he has a set back. I have checked and no pulse or soreness since Sunday...how many days would you give him before re-commencing his rides???

He shouldn't get lammi again because off the shoeing!!!!
Your right to be carefull and keep eye on things but I wouldn't worry about riding after he's been shod. You should be fine but if he does go down lame after he's shod it will be more likely that the farrier has put the nail through his White line so something like that.
