Would someone be able to spelling check/grammar check my letter to Wilmas breeder please...
Mum is away and I havent had chance to ask her to check it, I really need to send it lol
Here goes:
Just a letter to let you know how we are getting on with Yealand Charisma. About a year ago we moved house, and decided to move Charisma to a livery yard closer to home. She adores her new home and settled very quickly, the yard is only 3 miles away; which meant a lot of cycling for me during the summer.
This year has been a great season once again. We continued to do dressage (not our favourite discipline) and achieved our highest score yet 59.6%. Show jumping has always been a lot of fun, and something that Charisma really enjoys, we have been to clinics with Richard Barton, jumped lots and have been placed well!
Over the summer I started working at the livery yard, which brought lots of laughs and I learnt a lot, which included helping to back a 3 year old; which was great as I would love to work with young stock. During my summer holidays I really bonded with Charisma, and everything seemed to click. In November we has owned Charisma for 3 years.
We clicked so much that I even attempted to go cross-country schooling. Charisma was really good, and we soon realised that this was her forte. So we attempted a small one day event, in which we came 2nd! However my next attempt at cross-country was not so good, the course was massive and I didnt enjoy it at all. To try and regain my confidence we took Charisma to another smaller hunter trial. It rained. Lots. Despite being made to canter around a cross country course in her most hated weather, she did really well and I regained some more confidence.
I havent competed for a while now, as I plan to do lots of schooling over the winter and hope to get out and about to do some novice dressage tests soon. Weather permitting!!! Over the spring and summer I will try to do a lot more jumping, and attempt some more cross country.
I have enclosed some photos of us competing, I hope you enjoy them.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
