Just been to feed horse his hay, and gave him a stroke to find he was sweating. I know its slightly warmer and he had been standing in the sun, but still sweating for him is pretty unusual. He didn't do this when it was in the high 30s this summer. There was a tractor in the field next door with the other horses so wonder if he just got a bit stressed with something going on over there or over excited. I have checked and no signs of diarreahea, no runny nose (other than the usual), checked all over and no obvious signs of anything. Felt the base of ears, OK. Was just his sides, neck and by his sheath. Am I being over worried?

I would have thought he is fine. If he has his winter coat and it is as warm as it is here then that along with a run around would have made him pretty hot. Just give him a pat and then remember to breath!
