I think maybe I am
Every horse I know seems to have had lami for the first time ever this year
and I was lungeing my tb tonight and she wasn't lame as such but definitely had a shortened stride on her off fore which caused her to trip about 3 or 4 times on her near fore in trot (was fine in walk & canter). i checked her digital pulse afterwards and felt it in her off fore but not the near fore. This wasn't there before - due to paranoia I am checking her digital pulse daily and did it today just before lungeing.
I left her stabled (she is normally out at night & in during the day) with a small feed containing 2 bute but having checked her an hour after lungeing I can no longer feel the dp on either foreleg. So, has she just tweaked herself in normal tb manner
or do you think it is lami? I realise online diagnosis isn't an exact science and I'll probably be calling the vet in the morning anyway but if I don't post this I won't be sleeping much!
I should probably add that she is rather overweight (cs approx 4 if I'm brutally honest) and underworked at the moment although she is on a very low starch, low energy diet.
