This post may be a little daft but I just need some reassurance :D
So, on Monday afternoon I rang a lady in regards to an advert of hers she had posted the day before asking for an experienced rider the bring on her cob. All seemed to go well, chatted for a good 5-10 minutes and she seemed really lovely and friendly! She asked if I could have gone down to meet her that evening but I was already going out and so she said she would call me back to arrange another evening to meet.
Now I know it's only been a day since the phone call but she hasn't called back and I'm stressing out  I guess I'm just overreacting as she also mentioned how she was busy during the days and that she needed to collect the geldings tack from the old riders house... but I'm just starting to think that perhaps she didn't like the sound of me, or I gave her the wrong number! :(
Congratulations if you have gotten this far without falling asleep.. I just need some reassurance that I am just being a stress head! Oh, and how long would you guys leave it until you call her back if she doesn't first?
I would appreciate any replies at all! :)

If you have her mobile number why don't you drop her a text saying you are still interested in her horse and wasn't sure you had given your correct number.

Give her a call, say you are sorry you couldn't make it on Monday evening but you are very keen to meet with her so can you synchronise diaries x

I don't expect there is any sinister reason, but as you are getting a bit streesed about it just call her back. The worst that can happen is she says she has changed her mind. Don't stress - she has probably been busy :)

Thank you for the replies! It's certainly eased my mind :)
I only have her home number which was on the advert and I gave her my mobile number (The one I called off was withheld) but I may have muddled up numbers in my excitement
I'll give it tomorrow just in case she was busy and as you've all said I'll give her a ring back and check what's going on :) Thank you again, I've been looking for somewhere consistant to ride for 2 years and this is just too good of an opportunity to miss as the lad is kept just a 5 minute walk from me, so I was probably just getting worked up

Just for anyone who's interested, I rang back today and left a voicemail explaining that I'm free all week to meet her and given my mobile number again... I really hope she gets back to me! :(

fingers crossed for you, if you lived closer I have two you could ride

There seems to be a lack of horses available in my area.. or maybe no one likes me :p

Just an update, the owner contacted me and I'm visiting Apache tomorrow morning! I haven't been this excited to see a pony since my weekly riding lessons when I was 6... oh dear
