Was having a look on the BE website today as was trying to work out Novice and Intermediate fence heights with a friend, however I noticed that intro SJ is 95cm (XC 90cm) and pre novice SJ is 105cm (XC 1m), I have been competing intro this season and thought the SJ was 90cm (same as the XC) with 1 upright and 1 spread at 95cm? Same principle for pre novice, have the SJ heights gone up or had I just not realised the fences were bigger? And does that mean at intro there is 1 upright and 1 spread at 1m?? Hope that makes sense?

You are confusing me now!

Intro SJ limit is 95cm although the course will never be up-to-height, only 1 upright and 1 spread (the rest will be 90cm, same as XC).

PN is the same - 105 but only 2 fences will actually be at that height.

Novice limit is 115, same rule applies etc. etc. etc.

So in reality Intro SJ is 90cm, just a couple of fences a hole or 2 higher than the rest.

No its just 1 or 2 at 95 (intro) or 105 (pn).

As sillymare says really
