Hi
Just wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing, I have a welsh D who I got as my first horse and he has turned into a right handful. The reason being I got him when he was 4 and I was not expereinced enough to ride him. He is so sweet on the ground and affectionate but is a loony when being ridden.
So I have made the decision to loan him as I am now off to uni for a year maybe 2 and will struggle to find the time and money to look after him. I have found him a really good home with a really expereinced rider who will work wonders with him. He will most likely be off this weekend which is why I'm getting the nervous omg am i doing the right thing feelings. I think I know I am doing the right thing as when I finish uni he would have been schooled regularly for a year so we will be a much better match and in that year I will also be able to build my confidence up as i also plan to join the uni equestrian team.
I guess I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance.
