Hello havnt been on here for a while,
Bascially my best (jumping) horse has been diagnosed with pain in the origin of her suspensory, treated with shockwave and now im building her back up slowly however im not completly conviced shes right and would ideally like to put her in foal so she can have all the time she needs to completly recover.
So over the past two weeks ive looked at some horses all quirky as im tight and poor!!
i can offer the best home for most horses as i have my own small yard and each has there own routine ect ect i can handle most horses and like a quirky one!
4 of the 6 horses have been lame...
and two others have been nappy one i tried in the ring the other doesnt nap in the ring but does at home (and is the better napper!) Both horses would do my job and i really liked and i felt like i could offer them a home for life.. however both my offers have been refused.. and i thought i was being generous! so how much for a nappy 14yr old which is quirky and strong.. oh and a little evil!!
or am i being unrealstic with my idea of how much to pay for a quirky horse never to be sold on...
the horse ideally is no bigger the 16,2 any age, anyvice ridden or on the ground and only really has to jump 1m/ 1.10 classes if they will jump 1.20's to replace my good horse thats a bonus!
i have Kettle Chips and flap jack

I would think whether they have quirks or not if you want them to jump 1m20 or even over a metre affiliated classes unless quite old they would still be worth a fair bit!whats your budget?

I agree. 14 isn't that old either. I would think you could pay double your budget for that, even if quirky..
