Am just wondering if Im a little crazy. I do BE regularily with my other horse, however one of my aims this year was to do an Intro on my baby horse (well, he's 7 but green XC). Ive entered and am all set. But I have no idea if we'll get round the XC. He's only done two 75cm ODE's! We've schooled round unaffiliated novicey / intermediate fences ok, and I have chosen this event as its the nicest (easiest) Intro I know of. But I still dont know if we'll get round....!! I know the time will be a big issue and I know we'll certainly not be anywhere near making it, but TBH I dont really care about the time, I just want to get round!
He's quite an honest chap, I mean generally he'll jump everything but Ive always kept things pretty simple for him. He's had the odd full blown hissy fit but in training he's definately got 100 times better and now does water / ditches etc. without any fuss (was a big issue before). Ive never challenged him much before though so am unsure as to what he's going to think of an intro course. Its weird not knowing how we'll do!! Obviously I will get as much training in as possible (which isnt much as everythings cancelled just now....) before the event.
What do you think the chances are that we'll cross the finish line?!
