Monday is kinda a day off for the staff and horses at my livery yard in that no one gets ridden and it's only essential horse care. I also have a clinic that tends to run on and do need to do a few jobs around the house like my fish tanks and washing and stuff so I don't go up on a Monday.

But I really miss my horsey - I keep watching this little video clip I got of her yesterday when she was forced to get up to fetch her carrot (cruel I know). I know she's well settled and looked after there and probably couldn't care less if she doesn't see me.

Ah she's Sooooooooo beautiful :) my Facebook cover photo is of my boy and I log on at least four times a day just to look at his lovely face while i'm away from him! So at least you are not pathetic alone x

Can I join the pathetic's club, my first and last thoughts of the day is our
horses, I go on the loo and look out the widow at them, from the kitchen I
see the barn, there's only two windows (skylights) that I can't see our fields from, how lucky am I? One of these days I might actually finish the housework

Day off... the concept just doesn't compute... :p

The last time that I tried to have a horse free day, my chestnut mare (just to prove that I was shirking my duties and that she was not impressed) cut herself on her leg with the white sock, so that it was obvious that there was lots of blood. *sigh* She wouldn't let anyone near her, even the lady that she had known for ages and seen every day. *double sigh* So I had to go down to the stables at 11pm to tend to her wound, having driven down from Yorkshire.

:) Glad to hear it's not just me. She got her own back on Tuesday by being as stubborn as anything, but was back to her sweet self Wednesday (provided I didn't get between her and food).

I usually have to leave the country if i want a horse free day, so it is very odd when i don't see mine for more than about 12 hours!

Can I join the pathetics club too? I had a nasty riding accident in May which broke 6 ribs, damaged my spleen and shattered my confidence to smithereens. I've just started riding again, on a new safe cob and I started off with my husband LEADING me! :o

I just spotted you reply - agree most definitely not pathetic. Hang on in there and you'll be off enjoying yourself in no time. :)
