I feel so down! I know its stupid, and this is just a ramble to let my feelings out, but argh!!

Lovely people came to see Ponio on Sunday, after having a week off due to me moving house, he was slightly fresh - I did explain this to them before they came to see him! Anyway, had arranged to review him on Sunday after he had a week back in work, so they would see him at his normal self. Nearly said no to them coming on Sunday, but decided they would be best seeing him in his worst possible state, so they could know if they could cope with him.

Got a text at 6.30 this morning saying they didn't feel he was quite right for them - fine, but then they call me this morning, thinking I was someone else who's horse they went to see last night! Im over-reacting, I know, but I would have prefered them to be honest, say we have found one that is better suited to us.

Im just feeling really down. He has been advertised for just over a week, had 1 person come and see him, and 2 other people enquire, but it just feels like I will never sell him =[

Am I stupid to expect everyone to want to see him? Should I lower his price already, or keep it as it is for now?

He is only advertised on free sites, as I have no money left over this month to pay after being clamped and then having £140 stolen from me. Should I hold out and see what happens when he is advertised on 'proper' sites?

Please tell me im stupid and that he wont be sold that quickly! =[

Give it abit longer and maybe next month once you've been paid invest in a few 'proper' horsey sights. A week isnt very long at all :D

A lot of people seem to be expecting their horses to sell within a week or two of advertising them! If you were buying a new horse you would want to know that it is the perfect horse for you! I think I would be prepared to wait at least a month before thinking about putting the price down etc. There are a lot of horses for sale out their at the moment especially with Ireland the way it is! Plus our own economy people are being careful! Give it time and patience and perhaps keep doing some work with him now so when you get more people coming to visit him (which you will) he is a more chilled and fitter horse! Good luck x

I know this, but im just not very patient! lol Im thinking its competition season, if he's going to sell, it has to be fairly soon...

He has had a hack and a schooling session since, and is now back to the angel he is!

Thankyou to all for confirming my stupidness :p Much appreciated [=

Feeling slightly better about it now haha
