Who likes tack-cleaning?

I find it so relaxing and where I help that means 9 bridles & saddles plus all the spare saddles, leather girths etc. I love it!

Please tell me I'm not completely crazy!

Not at all! I love it and always have. So long as I have some music on and some choccie biccies available, I am quite happy

No you're not the only one, my friend loves it, will come up and spend the whole evening cleaning and oiling tack, I find it a very useful trait in a friend

I usually can't be bothered. When I was a groom, the only times I enjoyed tack cleaning were if my boss was going to something special and I'd love being responsible for getting all her tack nice and shiny, or if it was raining outside and I wanted an excuse to stay in the tack room!

Sure! I'm a bit ocd about keeping everything clean, tack, the horses, the stables even the grooming kits. I'm not sad, honest!

I enjoy it. I like doing my own tack and making it look as good as possible. I used to work in a hacking yard and started off cleaning all 15 sets of tack each week, but quickly got demoralised when it got trashed and thrown around
