.. who reads threads that start with titles like 'most irritating woman in the world' or 'what can i do about this horrible livery' or 'she is so cruel to her horse' or 'how do i tell my friend she is a crap rider' etc etc ... and think it might be about me!!???

Sheer panic sets in, slight sweat, shallow breathing, several gulps as I click on the link, only to find the poster is in Scotland or somewhere not very local.... PHEW! Safe this time!

Guilty conscience I wonder??? :D
 
Ha ha ha!! I am not on a livery yard but will be putting my mare in one while weaning and I look at them and think I will be teh person people are posting about, or my mum!!she is a pain to people I can imagine, a bit old fashioned loves our animals and doesn't work but used to work with horses groomed at HOYS for showing guy who won the hunter championship both years she was grooming, broke in racehorses and knows her stuff and will tell other people. I have also worked with horses, have inherited my mothers know it all attitude but a bit more modern. Together we will be trying to change the yard we move into !! (No we won't really but I worry about talking incase I say something, I can't help it!) I also have a very pretty, striking horse that can really jump but she is a mareish mare and only does it on her terms so I am the girl people say can't ride and its such a shame the horse is amazing. we got her for £1500 from a dealers yard and noone else can ride her so I am stuck with her! But onlookers think i am a tit who bought a horse that is too good for me....:rolleyes:
 
I've had the good fortune to have never owned a horse on a livery yard, I don't think I'd have lasted two minutes! I couldn't stand all the 'he said she said' stuff and people falling out.

I am stuck with muddy fields, crappy battery powered lighting and no school, but I don't think I'd swop if you paid me. ;)
 
This made me laugh! I am exactly the same although im one of the most laid back people i know:p On the other side when i post a thread i am always thinking - what if such and such reads this?
what if i get slapped down?
what if it makes me look stupid!
Yep, I think im paranoid!;)
