Ive just been asked to take on a pony for schooling, which is what i do, but the pony is only 11.2, its a 4yr old sec a. I regually ride 12.2s but havent been on one this small since I was about 19! I'm 5'2'' and 8 1/2 stone. I havent seen the pony and its to far away for me to go and have a sit on before they send it to me. I know I will look big on him but do you think I will be to much for the little guy to carry?! I dont want to be accused of pony squishing but I also dont want to turn them away if I will be ok on him. what do y'all think?! :D

At the max but you should be fine, you are obviously a good and therefore light rider. Go for it!!:D

Im 5ft2/3, was 7 1/2 stone before I fell preggers, now Im 4 months gone and weigh 8 1/2 stone, I'll still ride my sec A's :p
I school/hack/show sec A's :D Go for it :D

Not at all, in fact I'd say perfect for getting the best out of a pony that size , all too often they're not able to feel the little kids as their legs barely reach the bottom of the saddle flaps therefore they tend to take advantage of the little rider, hence you've been asked to do the schooling.

Daughter used to ride an 11.2 she's 5ft 2 and just over 7 stone. Weightwise you're fine. I think the only issue you might have if your legs are as long as daughters is in jumping - above 2ft 6 if cutting corners your feet might knock the poles down unless you have the stirrups so short it looks like your knees are under your chin when you fold over the jump
