Am i to early???

Thinking about clipping as my boy as really hairy but dont want to waste my time by having to redo it in a few weeks, so is it to early still or should it be okay to clip now (ps remember i am in scotland, just incase some of you still have summer down south lol)

Clip now and you will have to reclip in a few weeks (probably 2 weeks), that said I always have to clip my yeti early and reclip a couple of weeks later

i'm in scotland too. i clipped this time last year and didn't need to clip again...

Clipped today Beastie was sweating like a cob I just re clip as necessary til end of feb

if you need to clip then clip! my welshie usually grows a woolly mammoth coat so for his own comfort he gets his first clip pretty early on. I usually only have to clip again twice

Clip when you need to clip, if that means doing it more than once, then its better that way. Just make sure you rug your horse properly!

My tb and the coblet got clipped once in october/november and lasted through till march on one clip. I thought they werent going to grow back out !!!
