Am I too late for BYEH

My god, I didn't ever think I'd be writing this....

My youngster has only just turned 4. But by god he is brave, and careful. Popped him over a ditch, down a small drop fence and down a derby bank yesterday....No fuss or any hesitation. I have lightly SJ him too, and I can honestly say he hasn't hit a pole.

I am seriously thinking of eventing him. Am I too late to get him ready for BYEH?

Go for it! My youngster although going really well on the flat is proving to be a very slow learner when it comes to jumping so were sacking the idea of byeh off and concentrating on keeping it all very small until she learns where her feet are meant to go!

Thanks Gorgiegirl, looks like I have missed them for this year. I'm away for 2 weeks from the 5th argh. I dont think there are anymore qualifiers for youngsters are there?

There are only 2 or 3 qualifiers left but theres always next year. You could do some 4 year old pavo qualifiers.They are at intro level for 4 yr olds. The final is at tweesledown, very good prize money.
