Hello , am Linzi i own four horses ride english and western , hope to help and gain experience from you all i could talk horse's all day lol

I am looking for advice on showing a youngster in hand , what would i do with his mane and tail ? he is a shire horse 19months old? also would i used a normal bridel or a show bridel ? Thanks first time showing

hi, you would use a in-hand bridle for him, all native types dont need to be plaited and get left natural. Any that are not natives get plaited. You wear tweed jacket, shirt, tie and trs that are the opposite colour of your horses legs so if he has light legs you would find a darker colour trs such as cords to wear.

Hi, I thought Shires were shown in white halters? I would imagine there are also very specific things you need to do regarding manes and tails. If there is a breed society for shires you may find some pointers on their website.
